Throughout the pandemic I have continued to care give for my 85-year-old client on Mondays. She is responsible. I wear a mask and gloves at all times. Her building follows all proper protocols: No one is allowed inside except masked family and caregivers. All common areas, other than the laundry room, are closed; only one person at a time can be in the laundry room. Nearly 2,000 front line health workers in the U.S. (and an estimated 7,000 worldwide) have died after contracting COVID-19.
Donald Trump and too many elected officials and citizens have been tragically irresponsible during this crisis.
Wear a mask! Listen to health experts! And look forward to a time soon when vaccines become available.
